I already own this particular issue but not this cover. Upon its initial release I picked up the Todd McFarlane variant cover. Yes... I hate variant covers but sometimes I just feel the need to get them. I guess that makes me a hypocrite. In any case... I bought the McFarlane one on release just because McFarlane is my favorite ever. Though I did go back to get this particular wrap-a-round cover but it was sold out. So I bitched and cried and kind of forgot about it.
So then along came this little gem on eBay. I just started feeling the need to own more and more CGC/PGX graded books (thanks WalkingDeadCGCGuy :). Hey, they're worth more.. what can I say? And they're great to look at and are awesome conversation pieces! When I saw it on eBay the first thing I thought was damn, I loved this cover but don't own it. I needed it. The fact that it's graded makes it even better. Price? $20. That's it. Twenty bucks! To me, that's a fucking steal. The grading alone would cost about $30 so I already get most of the value there. Plus it's a nice book with a great cover by Charlie Adlard. So yeah. One more graded book to add to my collection. Any time there's a reasonably priced Walking Dead CGC book on eBay I'll snatch it up.
