The Walking Dead #100A (CGC SS 9.6)

****SPOILERS if you haven't read this far...
(Really... why? and WTF have you been?)
Be Warned****

Wow. My most recent eBay conquest comes in the form of yet another Walking Dead comic book. CGC SS 9.6 of the one hundredth issue. As you can see it has a yellow label rather than blue. This means, if you don't know, haven't blown up the picture and read it, or studied the cover, Signature Series. In other words, CGC knows it is legitimately signed... being that they offer that service at cons. Anyway, I'll ramble about it more here whereas in the other post about my CGC version I didn't say much about it... the book is classic. Not only is it the first appearance of Negan, everyone's favorite, foul mouthed bastard/murderer, it marks the end of a character who has been here since the very beginning.

When Negan was first teased I was so excited to see a new, bad ass villain by Kirkman and Aldard. Once he showed up I fucking hated him. Come on man. Glenn was fucking awesome! You bastard! Kirkman you fucking bastard! Aldard! Why!? Just kidding.  I was pissed. I think everyone was. Aldard's art showcasing Negan's skill with Lucille, splattering Glenn's head all over the place was so graphic and gory... I was fucking shocked. Yeah believe that. Even after all the other shit these guys have thrown our way, they can still manage to shock us. It just shows how good they really are. No shit.

So anyway... this book was a complete accident on my part. Not only was I not looking for it but I wasn't expecting to find a CGC SS book signed by Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard for so fucking cheap!! It was less than a $100. For less than a c-note, I got this awesome issue (that I already own several variants of), the awesome cover art teasing Negan and Lucille, and the fucking icing is Kirkman and Adlard's fucking autographs. Fucking win. That's all the fucking fuck it is. A fucking pure, fuckitty, fucking-fuck win. *My nod to Negan*

My hype meter on this gem is beyond control. I think that this book has almost instantly become my most prized comic. Easily. I'm a huge Walking Dead fan. Not the biggest but I'm pretty hype about all things TWD. I follow both the comic and show religiously. With season five fast approaching we're getting closer and closer to Negan appearing and this book will be hot. No question about that! I'm not too sure how they're going to pull him off (the repeated F-Bomb droppings will be a problem I'm sure) but I do have faith. I'd love to see Henry Rollins as Negan. That would be epic. Probably won't happen though:/
